What to Expect in Episode 8?

With episode 7, the anime has used the first 22 chapters of the manga. The 8th episode will start adapting the 23rd chapter where Team Z starts analyzing and preparing for their final match of the Stratum against team V.

With that, the episode will feature the story of Mikage Reo and Nagi Seishiro, with Isagi after a good lecture on strategy, meeting a player of the fifth Stratum!

What happened in the 7th Episode?

Titled as Rush, episode 7 saw Team Z making one more push for a goal to tie the game. There was also a bit of backstory of Chigiri. Isagi and the crew found it difficult to find a way in because Team W was aware of all of Team Z’s strategies.

Chigiri was destined to become one of the best strikers in the world, said to be the best player on his team with his pace. Sadly, he later had an injury that needed rehabilitation. The persistence and determination to win the match made Chigiri the game changer and Kuon’s betrayal helped Team W, and the match ended 4-4.

At the end of the episode, Nagi pisses off Issgai with his lax attitude toward soccer, inviting a rant from Isagi.
