Sally Amaki & Jon Kabira To Host Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023

Crunchyroll has announced that Sally Amaki & Jon Kabira will host the 2023 Anime Award.

The announcement came via a post on Crunchyroll’s website and its social media handles. The seventh annual Anime Awards will take place on March 4, 2023, at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan.

The event will air live for the first time around the world and will be attended by creators, celebrities, and employees of anime studios. Crunchyroll has announced that the event’s judges will be revealed before the end of the year. The fan voting on final nominees will start in the early months of 2023.

Sally Amaki, originally a Los Angeles native, is one of the cast members of Yasushi Akimoto’s digital voice actor Idol project 22/7 (Nanabun no Nijuni). That project was produced in a partnership between Sony Music and ANIPLEX. With her fluency in English, she is engaged in several industries as an MC for TV shows and events.Ā 

JonĀ Kabira, a native of Okinawa, Japan, has worked for CBS SONY on importing music and promoting artists in other nations. He now hosts sports and educational programs in addition to acting in TV shows, advertisements, publications, and stage productions.
