BLEACH: Thousand Years of Blood War Non-Credit Opening & Closing Themes Released
BLEACH: Thousand Years of Blood War anime non-credit opening and ending theme songs have been released.
On 17th October 2022, the official Twitter handle and official website revealed the anime’s non-credit opening and ending theme.
The opening theme “Scar” is performed by Tatsuya Kitani. Tatsuya is a singer-songwriter who also provided two songs, namely a theme song “Rapport” and an image song “Thanatophobia” for Bleach’s first exhibition BEACH EX in 2021.
The ending theme “Saihate” or “Extreme” is performed by Sennarin. Sennarin has released several music videos this year along with performing in Animethon.
BLEACH: Thousand Years of Blood War aired its first episode on October 10th, 2022 all over the world on different platforms, and is planned to end in 4 cours. That means anime might take up to 2 years to finish the last arc of the anime.
Studio Pierrot, the official studio of the anime, made quite changes in staff including Tomohisa Taguchi directing the new season replacing Noriyuki Abe. He will also be scripting the series along with Masaki Hiramatsu. While for the cast, more than 30 new artists will join the team to voice Quincies as well as Shinigami.
BLEACH is an original manga written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, and published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen JUMP. The series published 74 volumes from August 2001 to August 2016. It is considered one of the biggest shonen franchises by selling over 130 million copies The series has numerous novels, light novels, spin-offs,live-action, and anime movie adaptations.
The series got an anime adaptation from Studio Pierrot and aired 366 episodes from October 2004 to March 2012.
BLEACH: Thousand Years of Blood War is the last arc of the canon manga, where the Ywhach, the king of Quincies, gets resurrected to take longing revenge and rule the world. Along with him, a long-forgotten race of Quincy attacks Soul society and steals their Bankai, the most powerful weapons from the strongest of their captains. This will turn out to be an all-out war for the highest of the throne, and many mysteries of the past will be resolved.
