New Cast Members Added to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh
New cast members have been announced for the upcoming The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh: Part 1 anime movie
Netflix’s official Twitter account revealed new cast members for the upcoming Seven Deadly Sins, along with new promotional visuals for each of these characters. Netflix already released an official trailer revealing the 3DCG animation used for the production.
While the previous cast from Seven Deadly Sins will return to their roles, a few new members are announced to join the cast. The new cast members are –
- Koki Uchiyama as Fairy
- Kazuyuki Okitsu as Priest
- Yohei Azakami as Deathpierce
The previously announced cast is as below:
- Mikako Komatsu – Tristan(boy)
- Ayumu Murase – Tristan(teenager)
- Yuki Kaji – Meliodas.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh movie will be released in two parts on Netflix. The first part will premiere in December 2022. This will be the first 3DCG movie from the series.
Nanatsu no Taizai or Seven Deadly Sins is an original manga written and illustrated by Nekaba Suzuki. From October 2012 to March 2020, the manga collected 41 volumes in Kodansha Weekly Shonen magazine.
The series already has a 4 season long anime adaptation by studio A-1 Pictures for the first two seasons(2014-2018) and a non-canon movie Prisoners of the Sky. Next 2 seasons were produced by Studio Deen from October 2019 to June 2021 along with the second movie in series, Cursed By Lights.
The upcoming film will be focused on Meliodas’ son Tritan, who inherits the Goddess clan powers from his mother Elizabeth, though his father’s demon blood hinders his ability resulting
in hurting others. So, he goes up on the journey to Edinburgh Castle to learn to control his powers and protect the people he loves.
