Its season finale, i.e., the 13th episode, aired on September 26 of the same year.
There was a manga adaptation of this anime series as well. It was an original series that was later adapted into a manga. Masaharu Takano illustrated it, whereas Media Factory published it in the Monthly Comic Alive magazine. The first chapter of the manga came out on June 27, 2015, and the last one was released on February 27, 2016. It was collected into two tankobon volumes.
After the manga adaptation, the series was also adapted into a Light Novel. The single volume of this LN series came out on July 24, 2015.
Classroom Crisis: Plot Details
The story of Classroom Crisis is set in the future where people can travel from planet to planet. An organization named Kirishina Corp is running an advanced academy named A-TEC on Mars. Here, people spend half of their time in class and the other half developing engines for rockets.
The plot revolves around the members of this very class. It highlights the tale of Kaito and Nagisa along with Kaito’s sister Mizuki. It is a story of exciting political warfare with the struggle of teenage life. The anime featured their struggles as high school students, their issues in developing a new rocket engine, their love life, and being an employee in an engineering rocket company. All in all, the story is about how they remain together and overcome their classroom crisis.
Will There Be Classroom Crisis Season 2?
Neither Aniplex nor Lay-duce made announcements regarding the sequel of this anime. The return of any anime series mostly depends on its performance, critical reviews, disc and merch sales, and availability of the source material. So, let’s check these factors one by one to know whether there will be Classroom Crisis Season 2 or not.
The performance of Classroom Crisis’s first season was above average. It has a rating of 6.99 by more than 46K users on MAL. Moreover, it is ranked at #1576 in popularity on the same platform and has more than 116K members in its group. These numbers are not really extraordinary, but they still do justice to the series. Also, they are good enough for the makers to consider a sequel to the series.
Classroom Crisis received mixed reviews from the critics. They praised the show for good animation and characters, but they were also quick to find flaws in its story and the character’s depth. When it comes to the disc and merch sales, the series performance was average in the Japanese market. As we mentioned above, Classroom Crisis was an original series and didn’t follow any source material. Hence, there is no content available for the next run of this show.
