Kazuhisa Kondo Releasing Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 Episode Luna II Manga
The Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 Episode Luna II manga by Kazuhisa Kondo will be released on 26th November 2022.
The announcement came in Kadokawa’s Gundam Ace magazine’s December issue which came out on October 26th. The same magazine’s January issue will carry the new manga, which will be a prequel story of Kondo’s Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 manga.
Kondo is renowned for his manga, which is set in the Universal Century. Kondo’s Gundam series is famous for its realistic military depictions of weaponry and fighting. He also drew the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Kondo also produced the artwork for the manga side story of Gundam Zeta, which depicts an alternate start to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He developed and illustrated the manga series Mobile Suit Vor and Operation Buran U.C.0079.
Kondo published the MS Senki Reboot manga in July 2017. The manga MS Senki: Kido Senshi Gundam 0079 Gaiden, which ran from 1984 to 1985 in Kodansha’s Comic BomBom magazine, is being revived in the new series with his artwork and Masaya Takahashi’s storyline.
The first Mobile Suit Gundam: The Revival of Zeon manga was published by him in Kadokawa’s Newtype 100% Comics in 1988. He released the follow-up to Gundam Ace in 2010.
Gundam Ace published the first issue of ongoing Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeon no Saiko Shinsho Remnant One (The Revival of Zeon: Remnant One) manga in January 2020. Currently, an anime from Gundam Franchise is ongoing in the Fall Anime slot named The Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury.
