Aka Akasaka’s famous manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War lis going to end with its next chapter.
The news was announced in the 48th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. The series just released its 280th chapter on October 27th 2022 on Weekly Young Jump. The 49th issue of the magazine is scheduled for 2nd November 2022, which will conclude this amazing series with its final 281st chapter.
There was also a preview page on the 48th issue with description,
“I want to see their love story through…. A long romantic comedy that has been serialized for 7 years… is now complete! “
A special 12-page booklet and an interview between the mangaka and cosplayer Enako will also be included in the next issue. To celebrate the end of the Kaguya Sama manga, it will also get a special feature on the magazine’s cover.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War is an original manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. The series was first published on Miracle Jump in May 2015 but then got a slot in Weekly Young Jump in March 2016.
The series has a total of 27 volumes published with 280 chapters, and as of April 2021, the series has over 15 million copies in circulation. The series also has several spin-offs and a live-action adaptation. The series got a 3-season anime adaptation by A-1 pictures from 2019 to 2022, and a special OVA and an ONA in 2021.
The production has also announced the series’ first official anime movie titled Kaguya sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai (Kaguya-sama: Love is War: The First Kiss Never Ends). The movie will premiere in winter 2022 and the production also launched an official site for the fans to keep them updated.
