Chainsaw Man Tops December 2022 Sales Chart in US
Chainsaw Man has topped the sales chart for adult graphic novels in United States in December 2022.
NPD BookScan released the list of the top 20 Adult graphic novels of December 2022, and 18 of 20 spots were taken by manga volumes. The Chainsaw man has topped the chart with 8 spots covered with different volumes in sales.
It was followed by Demon Slayer, Spy X Family and Jujutsu Kaisen mangas, which have taken two spots each. My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super, Berserk, and Blue Lock have also made the list with one spot each.
Chainsaw Man has over 20 million copies in circulation worldwide and more than 9 million copies in circulation in the US. The manga has been on the list since 2020 and has the manga sold over 600 thousand copies in 2021.
The rankings are created by NPD after it has gathered point-of-sale information on print books from more than 16,000 different sources, including chains, e-tailers, independent bookshops, mass merchandisers, and others.
