The 118th chapter of Chainsaw Man will be released on January 18, 2023 at 12 AM JST.

What to Expect in Chapter 118? 

In chapter 117, Asa turned a whole Aquarium into a compressed Spear to attack the Eternity Devil to win the battle against him. The issue ended with a faint foreshadowing of Fami, the Famine Devil, plotting something.

Yoshida Fumi and Fami lock their eyes with subtle mysterious vibes. The chapter ended with Denji asking Asa out for another date. Yoru grabbed Denji’s intending to create a Spinal Cord sword as the chapter ended.

In chapter 118 of Chainsaw Man, it is highly unlikely that Yoru creates a weapon out of Denji’s death because of plot armor. But still, Yoru has taken the spot of 2nd protagonist so nothing can be ruled out.

Although, there isn’t an instance where Yoru has turned a Devil into a weapon and both of them are oblivious to Chainsaw Man’s real identity. But all this could change with chapter 118. Can we see Asa stopping Yoru from turning Denji into a weapon?
