Tokyo Revengers Reveals Second Season Trailer, PV and Cast
Tokyo Revengers’ second season, titled as Tokyo Seiya Kessen-hen’s first trailer and supporting cast has been revealed.
The trailer was revealed during TV Anime Tokyo Revengers Halloween Special 2022 on October 31, 2022.
The new cast members are also revealed and are as follows:
- Mikako Komatsu as Yuzuha Shiba
- Tomokazu Sugita as Taiju Shiba
Apart from this, Ken Ryuguji aka Draken seiyuu Tatsuhisa Suzuki will be replaced by Masaya Fukunishi. Along with this art director, Manabu Otsuzuki is replaced by Rumi Matsumoto.
An anime adaptation of Tokyo Revengers by Liden Films premiered and aired 24 episodes from April to September 2021. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in July 2021.
The second season is titled as Seiya Kessen-hen is translated as the Christmas Showdown arc and will be released in January 2023. A promotional visual was also revealed with the trailer.
Tokyo Revengers is an original manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. The Weekly Shonen Magazine of Kodansha has been publishing the manga since March 2017, which has collected 29 volumes as of August 2022.
The manga came as one of the most successful manga series ever, and had over 65 million copies in circulation, including 7 million copies outside of Japan. The 44th Kodansha Manga Award’s shonen category was won by Tokyo Revengers in 2020.
