The First Slam Dunk Movie Key Visual Released
A new key visual by Takehito Inoue from The First Slam Dunk movie is revealed.
The official website for Slam Dunk’s upcoming movie, a new poster illustrated by Takehito Inoue for series promotion all over Japan, was revealed on October 15th, 2022.
More news and information will be revealed through a special promotional video on the Toei Animation Youtube channel on 4th November 2022. The First Slam Dunk movie will be released in Japan on December 3, 2022.
It was further revealed Two books related to this movie are about to be released. A manga named Slam Dunk JUMP, an anthology of 24 selected chapters from the canon manga, is set to be published on November 8th, 2022.
The second book, The First Slam Dunk re: Source will be released on December 15, 2022. This is a special spin-off that also has an illustration of Inoue from the movie production along with an interview. This will be a unique book that contains and explores the film’s origin.
The First Slam Dunk movie is spin-off from manga series Slam Dunk which ran from 1990 to 1996 and has sold over 125 million copies till 2021. For the details on cast and crew of the movie, check this link.
