One-Punch Man Season 3 Confirmed by Creators
Saitama is officially set to return after a long hiatus.
The official website of One-Punch Man confirmed that the third season of this anime is in production. The anime’s second season ended back in 2019 and since then everyone was desperate to see the third installment.
The official Twitter account of the franchise also shared the first key visual of One-Punch Man Season 3 featuring Saitama and Garou.
It is likely that the third season of OPM will start by adapting chapter 85 of the manga and continue the Monster Association Arc. If the third season turns out to be a split-core then it will likely adapt the entire arc.
OPM’s first season was produced by Studio Madhouse whereas JC Staff took command of animation in the second one. Now, it remains to be seen whether one of these two studios will produce the anime again or will another new studio come forward to produce One-Punch Man Season 3.
However, it is likely that the fans will still have to wait an entire year because the new installment will not hit the screens anytime soon. If the production goes smoothly, then One-Punch Man Season 3 might release in the last quarter of 2023 or in the first quarter of 2024.
