New Ending Theme Revealed for The Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury
The Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury series has revealed the series’ ending song performed by Shiyui.
On 9th October, the series’ official website revealed the anime ending theme “Kimi yo Kedakaku Are” along with a PV teaser and the series OP will be “Shukufuku” (“Blessing”) by Yaosobi.
The announcement was made the official website and on its official Twitter handle. The series started airing on 2nd October 2022 with its 2nd episode airing on 9th October. The first cour is expected to run until December this year while the 2nd cour of the season has been announced for April 2023.
The Gundam series is one of the pillars of the anime merchandise market and has been in great demand for several decades. The series has been running since 1979 and has various adaptations including 50 TV series, films and OVAs as well as manga, novels and video games.
The franchise has made billions of Yen solely from its plastic model kits known as Gunpla. Gunpla makes up 90 percent of the Japanese character plastic-model market. The upcoming anime is a showcase promotion of the forthcoming models with the franchise giving fans another chance to refresh their collection.
The story of Mobile Suit Gundham: Witch From Mercury follows a young girl named Mercury. Mercury is transferred from a remote planet Mercury to the Asticassia School of Technology, which is run by the Beneritt Group, the leader in the mobile suit industry. This is a time when the whole world is dominated by the Mobile Suit Industry and Mercury wants to follow her passion for technology. But, her days aren’t going to be as normal as she imagined here.
