Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc Blu-Ray Launched at NYCC
Blu-Ray disc of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District arc has been announced at NYCC.
The package will include 3 CDs of the 11 episodes of season 2 along with the 6 original soundtrack CDs featuring designs illustrated by Akira Matsushima. The Aniplex Panel of America also announced that the series’ third season Blu-Ray disk set will also launch shortly along with series soundtrack CDs.
This news came as the frosting on the cake as on 16th April 2022 the official website shared the series’ 4th season Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village arc trailer. Earlier on 13th February, the website confirmed the Season 4 announcement news along with a visual trailer.
The season 4 official website is also launched now which will be posting further updates for the new season.
Demon Slayer anime series is a highly successful franchise so far. The first season of the series aired 26 episodes of the series from April to September 2019. It was followed by a movie named Mugen Train in October 2020. which became one of the highest-grossing anime movies of all time.
The anime series’ second season was adapted to the Mugen Train arc tv series and aired 7 episodes from October 2021 to February 2022. Season 3 was released with 11 episodes which ran along with season 2.
The anime series is adapted from an original manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The manga series ran from February 2016 to May 2020 with 23 volumes and 205 chapters. The anime has adapted the manga until 97 chapters and will go forward with canon now.
The next season is going to cover the later chapters of the manga where Tanjiro will visit Swordsmith village to train and get a new katana, encountering more fearsome upper moons.
