Attack on Titan Season 4 Key Visual

Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 New Visual Revealed

A new visual for Attack on Titan: Final season part 3 is revealed by MAPPA in an AoT Final Season Special Event.

The first part of anime’s last season started in December 2020 and aired 16 episodes. Following that, part 2 came out in February 2022 and aired 12 episodes.

Recently, MAPPA held a special event in Tokyo to entice and promote the upcoming part of the installment. The final part of the final season of Attack on Titan will premiere in mid-2023.

The new visual has the Founding Titan Eren in focus while the rest of the characters are around him in their ODM gear. With the revelation of the founding titan, this concludes that this will be last part of the series and will comprise the manga end too.

The last installment could start airing around the same time of the year as the series’ first season premiere date. The first season started airing 10 years ago on April 7th, 2013.

Attack on Titan is based on an original manga series by Hajime Isayama. 139 chapters in 34 volumes of the manga were serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The anime adaptation by WIT Studio premiered in 2013. The second season came out in 2017. The two-cour third season aired over 2018 and 2019.

Studio MAPPA took over the franchise for the fourth and final season. Titled as Attack on Titan Final Season, the season itself was split into 3 parts. Fans have complained about Studio MAPPA milking the famous series through its final season. Also, with all the backlash Hajime Isayama has received for the grieving and unsatisfying ending of manga, MAPPA might go on for an alternate ending.
